Hello I use the Veltop on a horizontal tricycle (Trike Azub T'Tris 20"). This is my second protection model. The first one was the first model made in the designer's garage. Now I've had the latest model for several years, and I think it's great, as the protection has been much improved. I use it to protect myself from the cold and also from the rain when it comes. I use it to run my errands instead of using the car, and especially for touring cyclocamping. Very good product with quality materials, made and assembled in France. What is the weight of protection?

The protection weighs between 1.7kgs and 2kgs, depending on the rear mounting chosen.

What is the degree of protection?

The upper body is protected from UV rays when the sun is at its zenith. The lower legs remain partially exposed.

Is the Veltop Sun Ride easy to deploy?

The soft top can be fitted or removed in 2 minutes. It can be stored in the rear pannier with the hoops if you wish to ride without them.

Is it easy to get on the recumbent with the protection?

The hood's 2 vertical supports can be unclipped if you wish to clear the way. However, you can sit in the seat without this optional operation. 

How long are spare parts available for this model?

Spare parts are available for 5 years in the event of a model change.
