This Veltop has three long trips to its credit, including one across Norway and Denmark in torrential rain. It performed extremely well. The only drawback was its wind resistance, but its design enabled me to fold the hood quickly.

Hello I use the Veltop on a horizontal tricycle (Trike Azub T'Tris 20"). This is my second protection model. The first one was the first model made in the designer's garage. Now I've had the latest model for several years, and I think it's great, as the protection has been much improved. I use it to protect myself from the cold and also from the rain when it comes. I use it to run my errands instead of using the car, and especially for touring cyclocamping. Very good product with quality materials, made and assembled in France. I use the Veltop for a recumbent tricycle (Tadpole). And I'm very satisfied! It protects well from rain and sun. The after-sales service was also TOP! If I ever ride two-wheelers again, I'll probably get a Veltop too. 100% satisfied.

My wife and I currently have 2 Expedition Veltops mounted on two HP Scorpion FS 20 recumbent tricycles. These are the 5th and 6th Veltops we've used on recumbent tricycles (2 per Veltop version). We're very happy with them. We're looking forward to the version where the hood will be replaced by a solar panel, allowing us to travel in total autonomy.

I've had my Veltop since about 2014 and am still using it, it has lasted through 2 recumbent trikes. I like that I can adjust the airflow hitting me using my windshield when I ride. I live and ride in places where sometimes the temperatures can exceed above 95F/35C and my Veltop has helped protect me when I was still finishing my ride. I got caught in a sudden rain storm and in minutes my rain panels were in place and helped keep me dry. I'm often asked about my recumbent trike top and I proudly tell them it is a Veltop. I believe my Veltop is the best investment/accessory for my recumbent trike. Thank you for a dependable and very useful product.

Very good product, a little complicated to assemble. But very good help and support from VELTOP during assembly. The side deflectors could be a little larger, to provide optimum protection.

The protection with all the fixings weighs around 4.8kg, varying from 100 to 200 grams depending on the fixing choices.

The protection can be set to summer mode by removing all or part of the canopy. It only takes a few seconds to remove the whole assembly.

Is it easy to get into the recumbent bike?

The cover is designed to tilt upwards for easy access into the seat.
