What is Covered

CYCLO SYSTEM warrants that each VELTOP product you purchase is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and during the warranty period. The warranty period for the product begins on the date of original purchase. The warranty period and the types of after-sales service that apply to your Product are set forth in "Part III - Types of After-Sales Service" below.

How to Obtain Warranty Service

If the product has a defect as guaranteed during the warranty period, you can benefit from the after-sales service by contacting CYCLO-SYSTEM. You should send an email to info@veltop.com with the subject "WARRANTY REQUEST", explaining the reason for your request.
Rates may apply outside the normal service area of CYCLO-SYSTEM. Please contact CYCLO-SYSTEM to find out more about your area.

The steps before taking advantage of the after-sales service

Before obtaining service, you must follow and respect the steps below: 

• Protect and pack the product or spare part in the original carton or in a carton in good condition.
• Remove all components, parts and spare parts that are not subject to the warranty claim.
• Return the package to our workshop at the following address: 3621 route d'Albertville, 74320 Sévrier - FRANCE - CYCLO-SYSTEM VELTOP

What will CYCLO SYSTEM do

When contacting CYCLO-SYSTEM, you must specify the problem or failure.

If the problem cannot be resolved by phone or email, CYCLO-SYSTEM will ask you to return the problematic product or part. CYCLO-SYSTEM will take care of the product or part provided that the problem is covered by this After Sales Policy. If it is not the case you will have to change the product or the part at your expense.

Replacement of the product or spare part

When service involves the replacement of a Product or Part, the replaced Product or Part becomes the property of CYCLO-SYSTEM and the replacement Product or Part becomes your property. Only unmodified CYCLO-SYSTEM products and parts may be replaced.

The replacement product or part provided by CYCLO-SYSTEM may not be new, but it will be in good condition at least equivalent to the original product or part. The replacement product or part is warranted for the remainder of the original product's warranty period.

Exclusions

This policy does not cover the following:

• Fall or accident with our products
• Damage caused by improper installation, improper use or failure to follow the instructions provided in the manual.
• Abnormal wear and tear caused by improper use of the product
• Loss or theft of your equipment

Limitation of liability

CYCLO-SYSTEM is responsible for loss or damage to your product only at the time CYCLO-SYSTEM is in possession of the product or while the product is in transit, provided that CYCLO-SYSTEM is responsible for transportation.

Your other rights

This Policy gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights under the applicable laws of your state or jurisdiction. You may also have other rights under a written agreement with CYCLO-SYSTEM. Nothing in this Policy affects your statutory rights, including consumer rights under laws or regulations governing the sale of consumer products that cannot be waived or limited by agreement.

The warranty period from the date indicated on the purchase invoice is 24 months. Discover the general conditions, the steps of the after-sales service, and the exclusions of guarantee in the part 1. Interventions performed under the warranty do not extend the warranty unless otherwise provided by law. This warranty is given only to the buyer whose name appears on the purchase invoice. 

CYCLO-SYSTEM guarantees that, subject to the following conditions, return and refund service and replacement service can be requested. Please contact CYCLO-SYSTEM or your authorized CYCLO-SYSTEM dealer for details.

You can request a return and a refund:

• Within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt if the product has no manufacturing defect and is still in new or like new condition.
• Within 14 calendar days from the warranty period if the product has a manufacturing defect.

Return and refund will not be provided when: 

• It is requested beyond 14 calendar days
• The product is incomplete 
• The product has been soiled
• The product is damaged and has not been used as described in the instructions
• Proof of purchase is considered falsified
• The order was not placed on the CYCLO-SYTEM VELTOP website
• The product has not been shipped within 14 calendar days of receipt
• Not present at the time of return: a copy of the invoice and a bank statement

Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.

Attention! The products in promotions (- XX %) will not be taken back, nor exchanged.

in their original packaging

You can request a replacement service: 

• Within 15 calendar days from the date of receipt if the product has suffered substantial damage in transit.
• Within 15 calendar days from the date of receipt if the product does not match the original product description.

Replacement will not be provided when: 

• It is requested beyond 15 days.
• The product sent to CYCLO-SYSTEM does not include all the spare parts, accessories, and original packaging, or contains elements damaged by the customer.
• There are no problems with the product.
• Damage to the product has been caused by the customer's improper use or installation.
• The product subject to replacement is not delivered to CYCLO-SYSTEM within 7 calendar days following the confirmation of replacement by CYCLO-SYSTEM.
